The Master Bathroom was created by host and licensed contractor by Rob Van Winkle (also know as Vanilla Ice) for his DIY Network’s original series The Vanilla Ice Project. Rob had his hands full renovating this room that was originally from the 1980’s with an old Jacuzzi tub and one head shower. Not only was the inside the mess the outside was a jungle with a wall that was falling apart. Rob gutted the room and added a multi-head Delta shower system with an etched glass divider so you can enjoy outside view. Whether you’re in the shower or tub the teak floor allows the water to drain so you don’t have to worry about flooding. The Schaub Rhinestone handles on the C & L cabinet with marble top highlights the Brewster wallpaper and picks up the natural detail Daltile glass mosaic tile adds a great feel to the room. If you’re in the mood for a movie and a bath this is the perfect room to enjoy it since you have a Toshiba TV with all the channels from Dish network safely mounted on the wall for perfect viewing. Rob decided to expand the room by tearing down the far wall that had extensive water damage and add a Florida room to make the space bigger and brighter. Using SIW Impact windows and doors and RollTech self powered blinds, Rob created this room to let the light in or out while keeping Mother Nature safely outside. With plush carpet by Shaw and fine hardwood floors from Lumber Liquidators that goes perfectly with the hand woven bamboo ceiling application that Rob created. The Havertys bedroom furniture is a perfect match for the chandelier form the Vanilla Ice lighting collection from Capital Lighting. (interior)

The Great Room was created by host and licensed contractor by Rob Van Winkle (also know as Vanilla Ice) for his DIY Networks original series The Vanilla Ice Project. Rob had his hands full renovating this room that was originally from the 80s with mirrored walls and a small entrance to the outside. Rob wanted to make this a real Great room and designed a custom hand-woven bamboo ceiling application that included lighting that matches the custom drapes by Unique Interiors. Other feature he improved on was raising the door height up to 10 ft feet with SIM Impacted windows and doors to highlight the view out to the patio/pool area. He decided instead of having a plain wall he would create a custom fireplace out of Dow cultured stone and a Dimplex eclectic fireplace to create a cozy sitting area with Havertys furniture. The flooring was completely replaced with Marble opustone tile and the old bar area with a mirrored walls was replaced with a limestone bar. (Interior)

He took this mansion that was falling apart for years and a eye sore for community and restored it bigger and better than it was. Recreating the pool with buit in fountains and LED lighting and new pavers as a deck Cushing pools helped Rob bring his design to life. Another addition to the exterior was a observation deck with a spiral staircase which was exteded of the master bedroom. A new Eagle roof installed by PetersonDean Roofing Rob wont have to worry about all the holes that were in the prevous roof leaking into the house. (exterior)
